Imagine a surf foiling wing that lets you foil waves like a surfer. If you're anything like us, you dream of an effortlessly turning wing that inspires confidence on entry and has a smooth, predictable, easy lift on the foil. A foil that not only masters breaks, but actually encourages them. No two waves are the same, sometimes you need a speed boost, another you need to slow down but stay on profile. A glider that you can just forget about and have fun with. Of course, that glider needs to be able to pump you back out so you can do it all again and again. The wait is over, here is the AXIS Spitfire.
You'll recognise it by its distinctive elliptical outline, straight centreline and lack of aggressive wingtip angulation. Moderate chord lengths that gently taper from the centre to the tips promote smooth, predictable and precise turning. Reduced foil thickness provides an improved top-end and complements the larger chords that provide a light low-end.
Many of these features are also found in the ARTPRO series, and much of what we learned during the development of this series has been incorporated into the design of the Spitfire.
During the development process we put the Spitfire through its paces. The smaller sizes are fast and turn explosively. The larger sizes are ideal for smaller spots and bigger riders. The Spitfires are versatile front wings that can be used in both wave and flat water for prone, SUP, winging, wake, downwind and lake pumpin.
They can do it all.
The Spitfire foils are ideally matched to our Black Advance hull and Progressive or Skinny rear wing series.
