Drainman
Are you tired of constantly steering your boat? Do you live far away from your boat and are unsure whether it is still afloat? Or is your tarpaulin leaking so that you have to drain your boat before every trip?
The Drainman, made in Sweden, is the answer to all your problems!
With the natural force of the waves and the wind and the resulting jerk on the mooring line, the Drainman steers your boat independently. The Drainman can pump up to 2500 litres of water per day. The Drainman is made of rugged materials with a tensile strength of up to 15,000 Newton. It is easy to assemble, practical to take along.
Länsman has been successful on the market for several years. Now we are introducing the second generation, which features a new design and even more durable material. Also new is the neoprene cover, which protects the bilge pump from sunlight and against wear and tear.
Drainman saves you time and money. A small innovation that makes your life easier, environmentally friendly and effective.
Installation
Easy to install and carry.
The Drainman features two loops, one on each side. One loop is connected to a mooring line by means of a tether, or a rip hook, the line is then attached to the mooring point, for example on a jetty. Mooring springs should not be used.
2. the loop on the other side is connected to the boat, using a shackle or rip hook, so that the Drainman is placed between the boat and the mooring point. Check that the hose and the sticker face up when installed and that the pump is held above the surface of the water.
Place the strainer of the suction hose in the lowest point of the boat (the Keelson) where it can easily drain the water. For increased stability, a weight can be placed at the end of the suction strainer loop.
