The super-light carbon PLATINUM in AEROSPACE PREPREG TECHNOLOGY is designed for performance-orientated experts in a mega-stiff monocoque construction. Word has long since got around that even PWA team riders from other rig brands are buying the PLATINUM!

WAVE SERIES:
The bend line of the short lengths with a smaller opening angle at the front and a wider end piece result in the EVEN CURVE, which ensures a more even tension distribution on the mast and sail hand. This improves handling when riding waves and during freestyle moves and reduces fatigue.
In response to popular demand, the PLATINUM is now also available in a MEGA SLIM version as the world's thinnest carbon fork with a spar diameter of just 24.0 mm (140-180 and 150-200)!
NEW: the brand new VTS TAIL fitting in combination with the 2022 Duotone sails offers for the first time a clear visual indication of the perfect clew tension (patent pending).
HYBRID SERIES:
The wave/freeride version with HYBRID.CURVE has been specially developed for sail sizes 4.5 to 7.8, which can literally unfold to their full potential. Half of the end piece is coated with Pro-Grip (INSIDE GRIPPED TAIL) for optimum grip comfort and a secure hold during duck jibes. Low weight, iFRONT 2.0 head tube and the stiffness of the monocoque construction make it the highest quality wave/freeride fork currently available.
This fork is also equipped with the brand new VTS TAIL fitting.
RACE SERIES:
The large PLATINUM forks have sophisticated race/slalom bends. An additional highlight is the iTAIL RACE FITTING, whose Teflon-POM plastic rollers minimise friction. Absolutely unique: the rope loop can even be looped when using an outhaul trim system (patented).
- The 170-230 cm length has a 28 mm spar diameter, ideal for small slalom sails and all freerace sail sizes.
Please note: the 170 cm length is a fork with a race focus, i.e. focussing on maximum stiffness despite the internal end piece and "small handle diameter". This makes it the stiffest fork on the market in its class. We achieve this through a preload between the end piece and the body. Unfortunately, this has a negative effect on ease of use. The 160 length (Freeride Focus) has the same body as the 170 but a lower opening angle end piece (= approx. 20% less stiffness but significantly more adjustment comfort).
- The brand new PLATINUM 190 now has a 28.5 mm grip diameter plus an OVAL OUTSIDE TAIL, which now provides even 40% more stiffness so as not to lose any of its rigidity even at maximum length.
