The idea is obvious, the realisation unique! Young rippers, women and smaller people up to 160 cm often have a hard time with regular sails due to their stature, strength and leverage. At the same time, they often surf better than some others and rightly expect a full-featured, easy-to-control rig. We have developed the NOW especially for this target group. A very light, powerful and high-quality performance handling sail, based on the current SUPER_HERO, but of course adapted to the ergonomics of smaller people. While most sail brands use the same layouts and materials for grom and women's sails as for adult sails for the sake of simplicity (e.g. heavy X.PLY), we go our own way. Through years of cooperation with all the big schools (e.g. Duotone Pro Center, ION Club, FBC) we use their great knowledge advantage and have designed the NOW together with them. A particularly balanced shape, lightweight monofilm and the sophisticated material mix of the iMODULAR DESIGN guarantee lower weight AND durability.
Reduced luff curve, 3-batten configuration and CONVEX DACRON LUFF PANEL combine to create a very elastic sail ideal for lighter riders.
Each sail carries individually defined visual indications for correct outhaul tension (requires VTS TAIL boom).
3 batten configuration, SUPER-LIGHT BUMPER and the WEIGHT OPTIMIZED PANEL LAYOUT result in a significantly reduced weight.
HOLLOW LOWER LEECH stabilises the profile above the fork and prevents leaning flutter
The optional trim indicator allows you to trim the luff "to the point" without ever having to check the loose leech in the top (patent pending).
