The ION Base Layer Merino short-sleeved shirt for men is suitable for mountain biking in cold weather conditions thanks to the highly functional and comfortable materials. We rely on a blend with RWS-certified, mulesing-free merino wool. This natural fibre is known for its outstanding temperature properties: it insulates against both cold and heat. Merino wool can absorb many times more moisture without feeling clammy. To prevent it from remaining bound in the fibre, we use a blend with recycled polyester fibres that quickly release the moisture. In addition, merino wool is considered odour-neutralising and has a soft feel against the skin.
