The built-in support platform for the deeper tuttle box offers optimal power transmission and strength, while movements within the box are reduced to a minimum.The forces are distributed over a large area of the board and do not stress the tuttle box as with conventional boards.
The Tuttle Connector has a solid M10 thread to connect it to the board. If an existing windsurf board (not Slingshot) with M6 tuttle box screws is to be used, 2 adapters must be purchased that allow the board and the connector to be connected with M6 screws.
