WING BOARDING - fully in trend and the development in manoeuvres is already progressing fast. Now it's even easier with our new WINGBOARD range.
You see riders who get on well straight away and are effortlessly on the move with Wing & Foil. This is usually due to the material and the wing basics.
Our goal was to develop boards that take off early, offer a lot of balance and dive smoothly back into the water before getting back on the foil.
The Wingboard range is available in Blue Carbon or Lite Tech construction.
Stability is especially important for the first steps. With plenty of volume in the rails, the "square nose" and the small "platform" at the tail, our wingboards offer just that. The optimised footstrap positions allow you to position your feet as close as possible to the foil.
The wingboards' round nose makes them very forgiving when you come back from the foil onto the water surface. A clean dive reduces the risk of falling considerably and lets you take off again quickly.
The optimised deck shape for perfect stance and control allows you to position your foot close to the foil.
Volume exactly where you need it. The boxy rails give you a really short and compact board with lots of stability under your feet.
A lot of volume in the tail is especially important for compact boards like our wingboards.
Due to the flat tail rocker , the board picks up speed quickly and lets you take off. The "Channel Bottom Shape" also helps, as the underwater hull becomes deeper and deeper towards the tail, helping you to pump up and take off as quickly and stably as possible.
The special CUTAWAY shape in the tail allows the board to detach itself from the water much better. In addition, the turning potential is improved without the rails touching the water. Thanks to the footstrap inserts, you are automatically always "in the right spot".
When it came to the foil position, our R&D team left nothing to chance and developed until the perfect position for the foil box was found. In the process, it also became clear that a carrying handle on the top would be a nuisance. That's why it's now at the bottom, but you can still carry the board very easily.
