The Vayu Wing Foil Board Fly is built to make wing foiling as easy as possible. Designed for maximum performance and early take-off with maximum volume in the shortest possible board size. The overall concept of the board makes it easy to get on the foil as soon as lift-off speed is reached. Easy knee launching, thanks to the wide and stable deck, even in the choppiest conditions. The centred volume distribution provides an agile feel on the foil, while remaining easy to control. The precise volume distribution allows you to stay stable on the board, whether you're on the foil or in displacement.
- All-Round Wingfoil Board
- Large deck area for stability during knee launches
- Soft and neutral touchdown thanks to the underwater hull
- Flat rocker line for an early take-off
FLY 5.0 90L 5'0" x 27" x 5" 152 x 69 x 13 CM
FLY 5.2 110L 5'2" x 28.5" x 5.6" 158 x 72 x 14 CM
FLY 5.4 130L 5'4" x 29" x 6.2" 164 x 74 x 16 CM
- Compact outline & generous volume
More manoeuvrable thanks to the short and compact shape. This means tighter radii and easier control even in the air with maximum volume in the shortest length. The additional volume in the nose and tail provides stability during displacement. The volume in the nose helps to absorb and cushion stalls and touch-downs. Easy pumping is guaranteed due to the shortness of the boards.
- Concave deck
The concave deck lowers the riders' centre of gravity for more control and comfort on the foil or in the water. The rails were deliberately shaped more voluminously to stabilise the water position. In turns, the concave deck shape also helps to put more pressure on the toeside.
- Centreline EVA rail and tailkick pad
For quick foot positioning, a raised EVA centreline has been added, making it quick and easy to find the right foot position. In addition, the EVA centre line increases grip as soon as you stand in the footstraps.
The Kick Tail Pad provides comfort when launching and foiling without foot straps.
- FOOT STRAP ISNERTS
Multiple footstrap options with a Y-strap setup allow the FLY to be ridden with either a double front strap or surf style with a centred front strap.
- Sandwich Technology
Durable and extremely lightweight construction. The lighter the board, the more agile it feels in man vern or jumps. It pumps better and gives surfers a more direct board feel. A lightweight but durable glass fibre epoxy construction is wrapped around the EPS core with special reinforcements in a complex production process. The foil boxes are inserted with PVC reinforcement (just like the footstrap plugs) to guarantee durability. In the stand area we use a large bamboo reinforcement to achieve strength and increased stiffness.
- Membrane ventilation screw
The ventilation screw allows air to flow in and out of the board thanks to the membrane technology. At the same time, water has no chance to enter the board. As the ventilation screw is factory fitted, it is no longer necessary to adjust it. Large-volume sandwich boards are affected by large temperature fluctuations. To avoid damage, it is still recommended not to store the board in the sun or expose it to extreme temperatures.
